The new central railway station – the biggest interchange station in Europe – is the most spectacular architectural project in Berlin.
We delivered 6 round panoramic glass lifts and were also charged with the entire planning, statistics, and delivery of the shaft construction including glazing and manufacture of the lift systems. The curved shaft and car doors with under-floor drive feature a special protection against vandalism and have been awarded a certificate by the Deutsche Bahn Company.
Every day, the lifts are used by more than 100,000 people. The entire glazing is made of clear glass featuring top quality.
